Evangelism

If this is your immediate reaction to the idea of 'doing evangelism', you are not alone....! Many of us feel ill equipped and not confident in this area. We probably also feel that we need to tell people close to us that Jesus Christ is Good News.

The problem is that often worry how to bring the subject up, what to say, how to answer questions etc. Sound familiar? Part of the solution is to pluck up courage and attend the 'Becoming A Contagious Christian Course', a course designed to be practical and build confidence in talking to people about your faith.

Becoming A Contagious Christian

Becoming a Contagious Christian is a proven course designed to equip believers for effective evangelism in today's world. This course is for everyone. It is for anyone who wants to get a bit better at friendship evangelism. It doesn’t matter if you think that you are really expert in this area or if you think that you need lots of help – this is the opportunity to improve.

The course includes ‘telling your story’ (how you came to know God), exploring which style of evangelism suits you best, telling God’s story (using easy to remember illustrations), helping people take the decision to accept Christ and lots more. BACC is practical, with lots of things to take away and use so that we can be more confident when talking about our faith. A practical handbook is also provided.

The last course was held at Stubbington Baptist Church in June this year with positive feeback from the guests. See comments below.

The  SATURDAY 05th November course has had had to be cancelled. Please keep your eye on the website for future dates or ask office to include you on our BACC News circulation list
