Every year the Men of FBC get together for a weekend away of fellowship and walk up some large hills in the Brecon Beacons. Our 'Mountain Men' know of no challenge too great, no mountain too high, no valley too deep and no meal so good as one enjoyed after a days walking in the Welsh countryside.

All levels of walkers are catered for, with walking parties split into groups that reflect how adventurous you are feeling that day. The high flying 'Kites' and happy to speed off and climb the peaks, the 'Goats' will climb with good pace but ensure no path is left undiscovered, while the 'Sheep' are happy to roam, taking in the spectacular views and scenery.

This years 'Wales Walk' is on Saturday 6th June (2009), with one night away, returning on Sunday in time for evening service. If you are interested in attending, please contact Ray Clarke or the Church Office.
