FBC Youth Club (school years 7-9)

FBC Youth Club logo 2-450
Monday evenings from 7.00-8.30 pm

For Spring Term 2022 only, we are also running a group over Zoom on Tuesday nights from 6.30-8pm. This is specifically aimed for anyone isolating, but everyone is welcome as long as they're in the right age range. The code will be sent each week in the normal email.

FBC Youth Club is our weekly opportunity for young people in school years 7-9 to relax and have fun at the start of the week.  Each week we have a central activity (in the past we've had NERF battles, gaming vans, sports events, chocolate bingo, pizza making and more!). If our central activity doesn't interest you, we ALWAYS have a wide variety of things you can do:

  • Pool Table
  • Air Hockey
  • Table Tennis
  • Basketball
  • Badminton
  • Full Size Arcade Machine
  • PS4
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Craft
  • Board Games

We also have a tuck shop that we open up each week.  We sell sweets and soft drinks and recommend you bring £1-£1.50 in addition to your subs. Our tuck shop is constantly evolving to include more of what young people love while offering a sensible range to help make balanced choices. We have crisps, low sugar soft drinks, and we offer packs of varying sizes for sweets and chocolate. We have begun opening the tuck shop at the start of the night to

Your first week is absolutely free, but normally we ask for £1 subs to cover our costs.

If you'd like to find out more, you can sign up for our weekly email.  If you include your birthday, each year on your big day you'll get £1 of free tuck as a little thank you from us!  You can sign up for that here.

Planning your Visit

Welcome 4

New to Church?

Welcome!  Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about Frimley Baptist Church.

The Church is involved in many activities, for all ages, some on a Sunday and many in the week. All these activities are explained in more detail under the "What's On" pages.

If you are wondering what would happen if you visited us on a Sunday, here's some information that we hope you will find helpful:

Where and when does the church meet?

We meet at:
Frimley Baptist Church, Balmoral Drive, Frimley GU16 9AR.
You can see a map on our contact us page

On Sundays we meet at 10:30am in the building as well as live steaming the service over Youtube. The livestream and all previous services can be viewed by clicking the following link
On the first and third Sunday of the month we also hold a 30 minute communion service from 9.00am-9.30am.

When worshipping with us, the decision to wear a face mask or socially distance is the personal choice of the individual. More details concerning seating arrangements can be found by clicking here.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go or provide you with more information to take away.

At our main service there will be some singing (which you can join in with or not!), prayer, a Bible reading and a talk based on a Bible passage or theme from the Bible. The words of the songs, Bible reading and visual aids during the talk are all projected onto the wall for easy viewing. A monthly printed noticesheet is also available giving details of the various events taking place during the month.

What happens for the children at church?

Other than the first Sunday of the month and through the month of August, we run 'children's church' alongside the morning service to which all young people (ages 0-14) are welcome.   Children stay with their parents for the start of the service and then someone will announce when the children go to their groups.  You will need to go with your children to register them if it is your first time with us.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under What's On.

Is there a dress code?

No!  Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!  You are free simply to observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?

Please feel free to contact us.  If you want to know who works in the Church Office, check out our Leadership and Staff page.
