Church Counsellor
Jill Daly

Jill

Hello, I'm the Counsellor at
Frimley Baptist Church.

During this COVID period my services are provided virtually on line until further notice.

I offer a confidential counselling service to individuals or couples who need support when life seems difficult. Such difficulties might include: bereavement, depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem or relationship difficulties.

I usually set up an initial assessment to give both myself and the client an opportunity to check if we would be able to work together with no obligation to continue. There is no charge for the initial assessment and a scale of charges for on-going therapy.

I have a BA (Hons) degree in counselling from Roehampton University and have been working as a counsellor for 13 years. I am a registered member of BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and abide by their professional guidelines and ethical code.

To book an appointment or to discuss any aspects of the services I offer, I can be contacted confidentially on:BACP Logo - 100 pix high

Planning your Visit

Welcome 4

New to Church?

Welcome!  Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about Frimley Baptist Church.

The Church is involved in many activities, for all ages, some on a Sunday and many in the week. All these activities are explained in more detail under the "What's On" pages.

If you are wondering what would happen if you visited us on a Sunday, here's some information that we hope you will find helpful:

Where and when does the church meet?

We meet at:
Frimley Baptist Church, Balmoral Drive, Frimley GU16 9AR.
You can see a map on our contact us page

On Sundays we meet at 10:30am in the building as well as live steaming the service over Youtube. The livestream and all previous services can be viewed by clicking the following link

On the first and third Sunday of the month we also hold a 30 minute communion service from 9.00am-9.30am.

Currently due to COVID-19 restrictions all those who are worshipping in the building are required to wear a face covering. More details concerning our COVID set up can be found by clicking here.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go or provide you with more information to take away.

At our main service there will be some singing (which you can join in with or not!), prayer, a Bible reading and a talk based on a Bible passage or theme from the Bible. The words of the songs, Bible reading and visual aids during the talk are all projected onto the wall for easy viewing. A monthly printed noticesheet is also available giving details of the various events taking place during the month.

What happens for the children at church?

Other than the first Sunday of the month and through the month of August, we run 'children's church' alongside the morning service to which all young people (ages 0-14) are welcome.   Children stay with their parents for the start of the service and then someone will announce when the children go to their groups.  You will need to go with your children to register them if it is your first time with us.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under What's On.

Is there a dress code?

No!  Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!  You are free simply to observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?

Please feel free to contact us.  If you want to know who works in the Church Office, check out our Leadership and Staff page.
