Chairs new layout

Happy to sit next to anyone?
If you are happy to sit next to anyone during the service then
you do not need to book your seat. Just turn up and sit wherever you like in the main section of seating - on a first come first served basis - or any seats not marked as being 'reserved'.

Prefer to only sit with your 'bubble'?
The first narrow line of seats as you enter the room and the narrow line of chairs on the oppposite wall are assigned for those who would prefer to sit more separate from the main group. Y
ou do need to book these so that they can be set aside for you. This can be done by emailing (office@fbc.org.uk) or phoning (01252 837844) before noon on the previous Friday . If no one is available to take your call then please leave your booking details on the answerphone and someone will get back to you to confirm your booking.

Worshipping at home
Please consider your own health and safety before deciding to attend.  Double vaccination is not a guarantee of protection from COVID. If you are unable to attend or prefer to worship at home, our services will continue to be livestreamed on our FBC Radio YouTube channel which can be viewed by clicking here

Planning your Visit

Welcome 4

New to Church?

Welcome!  Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about Frimley Baptist Church.

The Church is involved in many activities, for all ages, some on a Sunday and many in the week. All these activities are explained in more detail under the "What's On" pages.

If you are wondering what would happen if you visited us on a Sunday, here's some information that we hope you will find helpful:

Where and when does the church meet?

Most Sundays we meet at 9:00 am, 10:30 am and 6:00 pm.  The style and content of these three services are quite distinct, but you will be very welcome at any service.  The service pattern is explained on the Sunday Services page and the details of the services this week can be seen on the Home page.

We meet at:
Frimley Baptist Church, Balmoral Drive, Frimley GU16 9AR.
You can see a map on our contact us page

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go or provide you with more information to take away.

Depending on which service you visit, the content and style will be slightly different, as explained above.  At all services there will be some singing (which you can join in or not!).  At the 10:30 am and 6:00 pm services the minister, or one of the members of the Church will give a talk based on a Bible passage or theme from the Bible. The speakers often use audio visual aids as part of their talk.  The 9:00 am is a communion service with a short reflection from the service leader.

Usually tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the 10:30 am service and before the 6:00 pm service, where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What happens for the children at church?

Other than the first Sunday of the month and through the month of August, we run children's groups in part of the morning service (10.30 am) to which all young people (ages 0-14) are welcome.   Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs) together for the first part of the morning.  Someone will announce when the children go to their programme.  You will need to go with your children to register them if it is your first time with us.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under What's On.

Is there a dress code?

No!  Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!  You are free simply to observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?

Please feel free to contact us.  If you want to know who works in the Church Office, check out our Leadership and Staff page.
