FBC Youth

FBC Youth exists because we passionately believe we're here so that Frimley's Youth prosper.  We believe in young people, we believe in family and we believe in our community.

Through close links with schools, local youth workers, and charities, we are working with a laser focus to impact young people and see them prosper.  To help us do that we run four groups each week - two for younger youth and two for older youth.

Younger Youth (School Year 7-9)

FBC Youth Club
FBC Youth Club gives young people in school years 7-9 the chance to have fun and relax at the start of the week.  We have a central activity each week but plenty to do if that doesn't appeal!  It's just £1 entry, but absolutely free for your first week.  It runs between 7.00 pm and 8.30 pm on Monday nights (apart from Bank Holidays and a couple of sessions over the Christmas period).
Edge is our primary teaching time for school years 7-9.  Each Sunday morning during the 10.30 am service we have a teaching time where we learn about the Bible and how it applies to our lives.  We believe God speaks today, and we'd love to help you discover that too.

Older Youth (School Year 10-13)

Sunday Night Live (SNL)
Sunday Night Live gives young people in school years 10-13 the chance to relax before the week ahead.  Each week after the 6.00 pm evening service at FBC, we relax and play games.  Often, we'll have food and soft drinks too!
Cell is our main teaching time for school years 10-13.  Each Friday night between 7pm and 8.30 pm, we study the Bible and work out what it has to say to us today.  We believe God speaks today, and we'd love to help you discover that too.

Please note, on the following dates Cell will not be at FBC. Instead, we'll be joining in with the POINT from 7-9pm at St Paul's Church in Camberley.

11th February 2022
11th March 2022
22nd April 2022
13th May 2022
10th June 2022
8th July 2022

While we'll invite all our young people to the event itself, as it's our older youth's night, school years 10-13 are welcome to meet us for food together first at 6pm in Camberley town centre before walking to St Paul's.

CYFC logo 2018We also partner with Camberley Youth for Christ to deliver youth work, including after-school clubs, detached youth work and mentoring in Tomlinscote School.

If you'd like to contact Stephen, our youth worker, please feel free to drop him an email.

Planning your Visit

Welcome 4

New to Church?

Welcome!  Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about Frimley Baptist Church.

The Church is involved in many activities, for all ages, some on a Sunday and many in the week. All these activities are explained in more detail under the "What's On" pages.

If you are wondering what would happen if you visited us on a Sunday, here's some information that we hope you will find helpful:

Where and when does the church meet?

We meet at:
Frimley Baptist Church, Balmoral Drive, Frimley GU16 9AR.
You can see a map on our contact us page

On Sundays we meet at 10:30am in the building as well as live steaming the service over Youtube. The livestream and all previous services can be viewed by clicking the following link
On the first and third Sunday of the month we also hold a 30 minute communion service from 9.00am-9.30am.

When worshipping with us, the decision to wear a face mask or socially distance is the personal choice of the individual. More details concerning seating arrangements can be found by clicking here.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go or provide you with more information to take away.

At our main service there will be some singing (which you can join in with or not!), prayer, a Bible reading and a talk based on a Bible passage or theme from the Bible. The words of the songs, Bible reading and visual aids during the talk are all projected onto the wall for easy viewing. A monthly printed noticesheet is also available giving details of the various events taking place during the month.

What happens for the children at church?

Other than the first Sunday of the month and through the month of August, we run 'children's church' alongside the morning service to which all young people (ages 0-14) are welcome.   Children stay with their parents for the start of the service and then someone will announce when the children go to their groups.  You will need to go with your children to register them if it is your first time with us.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under What's On.

Is there a dress code?

No!  Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!  You are free simply to observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?

Please feel free to contact us.  If you want to know who works in the Church Office, check out our Leadership and Staff page.
